Signing Out of the Hospital to Go Home and Give Birth | Liz's Story

Liz tells the story of not being able to conceive for more than a year, how 2020 woke her and her husband up from medical brainwashing, and learning the truth of birth and choosing an amazing midwife for her first pregnancy. She visited a hospital in labor because of bleeding, but then her and her husband decided to sign out of the hospital and go home to have a homebirth.... and they did.

Mairin, a mother of six, shares her journey of faith, sexual trauma, adoption, birth, and motherhood. Her unplanned, traumatic pregnancy in college (and private adoption) awoke her true longing: motherhood. She shares her experiences of meeting her husband, being a military wife, fostering and adopting a son, multiple hospital inductions for IUGR (Intrauterine Growth Restriction).... including a set of twins!!!! Lastly, Mairin explains her passion for homebirth, how birth is a reflection of our values and beliefs, and the story of her sixth baby, a freebirth!!! Mairin's story is one of "irresponsible" Faith and the divine perfection of God's plan.

Stephanie shares the concept of light conception and how it relates to her own experience two decades ago. She emphasizes the importance of being open-minded and accepting the extraordinary possibilities in life. Stephanie discovered that her mother was a true narcissist when she was 40 years old and explains the long journey of healing (she was an atheist that found God amongst abuse from her own mother!). The conversation explores the effects of narcissistic, abusive parenting, the tendency to choose partners similar to the abusive parent, and advice for other women dealing with this extremely challenging life situation.
