Mairin, a mother of six, shares her journey of faith, sexual trauma, adoption, birth, and motherhood. Her unplanned, traumatic pregnancy in college (and private adoption) awoke her true longing: motherhood. She shares her experiences of meeting her husband, being a military wife, fostering and adopting a son, multiple hospital inductions for IUGR (Intrauterine Growth Restriction).... including a set of twins!!!! Lastly, Mairin explains her passion for homebirth, how birth is a reflection of our values and beliefs, and the story of her sixth baby, a freebirth!!!
